Job summary

Simply Education seeks a part-time Nursery Assistant to support one of our partner nurseries in Daventry. You will help deliver play-based activities, support routines and work with our key-workers to ensure children's day-to-day care and learning is well-managed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and flexible hours (mornings/afternoons). You will join a supportive team committed to safeguarding and high-quality early years provision.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent experience (minimum).
• Cheerful, reliable and proactive approach.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Clear understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners in delivering activities and supporting children's learning.
• Support routines: meals, naps, play, hygiene, and transitions.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised environment for children and staff.
• Communicate with key workers and parents about children's wellbeing and daily experiences.
