Job summary

Lawford Surgery in a semi-rural setting is seeking a part-time salaried GP who can work flexibly across days and shifts. The role covers all standard GP duties including surgery, telephone consultations, home visits and chronic disease management.

You will join a multidisciplinary team within North Colchester PCN and contribute to screening, prescribing, health education and QOF reporting. Full GMC registration and NHSE performers list placement are required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Experience in chronic disease management and prevention
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and adherence to clinical policies

Responsibilities

• Carry out surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, and reviews
• Develop care plans in line with disease management protocols
• Prescribe and review acute and repeat medications
• Screen patients for risk factors and early signs of illness
• Deliver health education and maintain clear notes
• Collect audit data and support QOF reporting
• Deliver enhanced services as required
