Job summary

Tinies Childcare in St Neots is seeking a Flexible Nursery Assistant to support children aged 0-5 across nurseries in the Cambridge branch network. This temporary, full-time role offers flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle, with opportunities to progress to permanent positions.

You will assist with daily care, learning, and play, while helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment and participating in activity planning. DBS support and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification or experience in childcare.
• Current Enhanced DBS (we can help you obtain one).
• Reliable, caring, and professional approach.
• Confidence to adapt to new nurseries and teams.
• Genuine passion for early years care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care, learning, and play of children aged 0-5 years.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment.
• Support the nursery team in maintaining safety and routine.
• Contribute to planning and delivering activities.
• Observe and record children's progress.
• Work flexibly across different settings when needed.
