Job summary

We are seeking a Bank Health Care Support Worker to join Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. You will provide personal care and support across wards as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role operates on a zero hours bank basis with flexibility to cover day and night shifts. Applicants should have experience in care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care and teamwork in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Willing to work across a variety of wards within the Trust.
• On-the-job training and full care certificate induction provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to patients alongside a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with staff.
• Be flexible to work across different wards and shifts.
• Follow instructions and contribute to safe staffing levels.
