Job summary

Gi Group UK is hiring Full Time Meter Readers to cover local postcodes. You will collect gas and electricity meter reads for both home and business properties, updating data on a handheld device while delivering good customer service.

The role offers flexible start times, 37.5 hour weeks, full training, and a pension. DBS check required, driving licence with up to 6 points, and access to your own vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physically fit with ability to lift and walk 3-5 miles daily.
• Clear DBS check (no unspent convictions).
• Access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from gas and electricity meters at domestic, commercial and industrial sites.
• Update meter reads accurately on handheld device.
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
