Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Practice Nurses in Liversedge to provide flexible sessional work across primary care services. The role suits nurses with experience in treatment room duties, chronic disease management and preventive health clinics.

You will support multiple primary care teams through routine procedures, long-term condition reviews and general nursing tasks, with clear protocols and structured workflows to ensure a well-supported working environment.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered Nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS completed.

Responsibilities

• Delivering treatment room clinics including wound care and dressings.
• Supporting chronic disease management within established care plans.
• Carrying out immunisations for adults and children (if trained).
• Undertaking smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Performing NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Recording accurate clinical notes for each service.
• Assisting with general nursing duties as required.
