Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Practice Nurses in Broseley for varied and flexible sessional work across community health settings and GP surgeries. This role offers a balanced mix of treatment room duties, clinical reviews and preventative health activity.

You will contribute to a range of primary care services by supporting routine clinics, delivering procedural care and assisting with core nursing responsibilities. Flexible local shifts with ad-hoc and regular work opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with primary care or community experience.
• Immunisation and cytology experience is advantageous.
• Confident with routine treatment room work and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run treatment room clinics including wounds and general nursing procedures.
• Support chronic disease and long-term condition reviews.
• Administer immunisations (if trained).
• Perform smear tests where qualified.
• Conduct NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Maintain documentation across clinical systems and support GPs/Nurses.
