Locum Ready is seeking experienced Practice Nurses for Alderley Edge to cover flexible, sessional shifts across primary care services. You will support NHS teams with routine nursing tasks, wound care, chronic disease reviews and preventive clinics.

You should be NMC-registered with primary care experience; immunisation and cytology training are advantageous. The role offers ad-hoc or ongoing bookings, with weekday, evening or weekend sessions to fit your availability.

Formación

• NMC-registered Nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training beneficial.
• Confident in routine nursing tasks and treatment room clinics.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering treatment room clinics including wound care and dressings
• Supporting chronic disease management within established care plans
• Carrying out immunisations for adults and children (if trained)
• Undertaking smear tests where cytology-trained
• Performing NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments
• Recording accurate clinical notes for each service
• Assisting with general nursing duties as required
