Locum Ready is seeking Locum Nurse Practitioners in Kirkwall to deliver autonomous NP clinics across community and GP environments. The role offers fully flexible sessions with opportunities to work across weekday, evening or weekend slots, tailored to your location and preferences.

You will run NP-led clinics, manage minor illnesses, support triage and urgent care demand, and prescribe where qualified, documenting actions in service systems.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with clinical experience in primary care, urgent care or community health.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work confidently in varied clinical settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance preferred.

Aufgaben

• Run autonomous NP clinics across community and GP environments.
• Manage acute presentations and routine assessments.
• Support urgent care demand with telephone triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope (if qualified).
• Review investigations and arrange follow-up actions.
• Document clearly and accurately within service clinical systems.
• Assist clinicians with general clinical duties as required.
