Locum Ready invites GMC-registered GPs to join a flexible locum pattern across Hillswick-area primary care services. You will deliver urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone triage and clinical decision making.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP is required.
• NHS Performers List inclusion required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills are essential.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent and routine GP clinics across primary care settings.
• Conduct telephone consultations and triage.
• Assess acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribe within scope and handle medication queries.
• Review results, referrals and follow-up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes in service systems.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
