Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Yarm. This role offers flexible sessional work with full support from a well‑established multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes within a structured workflow and supportive clinical setup that makes each session efficient.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate) required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing certification.
• Recent experience in primary or urgent care.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.
• Familiarity with EMIS/SystmOne/Vision.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews
• Ordering and interpreting investigations
• Clear, accurate clinical documentationWorking collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs
