Job summary

Locum Ready seeks Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Knottingley for flexible, sessional work across local primary care providers. You will perform autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations, and support routine primary care with sessions tailored to your availability.

As an ACP, you will work within clinical teams to deliver independent clinics, provide triage by phone or in person, and prescribe within your scope. DBS checks and Level 7 qualifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) required.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice.
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
• Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems.
