Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Eccles to provide flexible sessional work across primary care settings. You will perform autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations and support routine primary care activity, with sessions scheduled to fit your timetable.

The role suits ACPs with Level 7 qualification, nursing/paramedic/physiotherapy backgrounds, and an Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions
• Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems
