Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners to deliver ACP-led clinics in Southwold. Sessions are flexible, matching your availability, with options for short-term, ad-hoc, or regular bookings across local primary care settings.

Applicants should have Level 7 ACP qualification, a nursing/paramedic/physiotherapy background, and ideally Independent Prescribing. DBS clearance is required and sessions can include evenings, weekends, or weekdays.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assess and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Provide telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within your scope of practice.
• Support clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
• Document accurately within service-specific clinical systems.
