Job summary

Jubilee Recruitment in Reading and Berkshire is seeking reliable Kitchen Porters to join a flexible, week-based schedule across multiple sites. You will travel between kitchens, support food prep, handle deliveries, and ensure clean, safe work areas.

Role requires willingness to work across different kitchens, good timekeeping, and valid Food Safety Level 2 and Allergen certificates. Weekly pay and day shifts are offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable kitchen porters with proven experience.
• Willingness to travel across Reading and surrounding areas.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilise countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills, and sinks, General Kitchen Porter duties.
• Receive deliveries and organising them in the kitchen.
• Wash dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans — or load dishes into the dishwasher.
• Support the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling, and washing food items.
• Serving customers with a friendly attitude and excellent customer service.
• Handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Performing daily cleaning duties as directed by the chef manager.
