Job summary

Carden Park Hotel Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our busy UK resort in Ellesmere Port. The role focuses on cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, supporting chefs, and assisting with basic food prep when required.

You will work as part of a team with a flexible zero-hours contract and an hourly rate between £9.50 and £12.71 plus service charge and benefits. Transport access is advised for rural location staff.

Responsibilities

• Washing cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping work surfaces, floors and walls clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Supporting the chefs with daily kitchen tasks.
• Assisting with food preparation when required.
• Helping to maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
• Working as part of the wider kitchen team to support the smooth running of the operation.
