Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator in Whitworth. You will oversee materials purchasing, production planning, subcontract manufacturing coordination and inventory management for multiple lines serving hundreds of customers.

This permanent role starts ASAP with a salary up to £35,000 plus annual bonus. 37.5 hours per week, onsite parking and a full UK driving licence. Benefits include life insurance (2x salary) and a Christmas shutdown.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a complex Supply Chain role.
• Strong planning and purchasing capabilities with risk awareness.
• Experience with import/export documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy under pressure.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations.
• Planning and preparation of weekly production schedules for Operations Teams for multiple manufacturing lines serving over 300 active customers and 500 active products.
• Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers for £1.5 million/annum purchasing spend across materials, packaging etc., monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices.
• Maintaining cost data for materials, WIP and products and ensuring timely delivery.
• Managing 3rd party Sub-contract manufacturing and production.
• Liaising with non-UK suppliers and haulage/import organisations for in-bound materials.
• Defining, monitoring and evaluating Supply Chain KPIs.
