Job summary

JR PAT Testing is expanding across the UK and is seeking experienced PAT engineers for self-employed roles in Charlestown and surrounding areas. You will work on a flexible schedule, choosing part-time or full-time hours, with own insurance and calibrated equipment, while joining a supportive team.

Daily tasks include on-site PAT testing of appliances in hospitals, shops, or offices, documenting results, and discussing findings with clients.

Qualifications

• Prerequisite City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent.
• Proven competence in PAT testing per C&G.
• Willing to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Test appliances on site to confirm safety.
• Record results in PAT reports and provide certificates.
• Communicate outcomes to clients and explain results.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as required.
