Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Class 2 HGV drivers to support clients in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. This flexible, temporary role offers days, nights and weekend shifts with weekly pay and ongoing assignments, suited for professional drivers seeking variety and reliable work.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, ensure accurate paperwork, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service at delivery points.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence and CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
