Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for a busy Crawley depot. You will trunk parcels, conduct pre-shift checks, and ensure deliveries are made on time across the network.

Flexibility with shifts is offered along with competitive hourly pay and a benefits package. Candidates should have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, and at least 1 year of Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid UK Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Minimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• Fewer than 10 tachograph infringements in the last 12 months; no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Transport parcels between distribution sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards.
• Follow planned routes and adhere to scheduled delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with driving regulations and company procedures.
