Driver Hire Chelmsford & Harlow is seeking experienced HGV 2 drivers for ad hoc assignments across the CM postcode area. You will earn a competitive daily rate and have flexible hours, working with a range of clients and industries to provide essential delivery services.

Key responsibilities include safe driving, vehicle inspections, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining excellent customer service while complying with UK regulations. Agency support is provided for placements.

Qualificações

• Valid HGV 2 licence.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card is essential.
• Digital Tachograph card is essential.
• Prior experience as an HGV 2 driver.
• Excellent knowledge of UK road laws and driving regulations.
• Ability to work on an ad hoc basis, with short notice availability.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate HGV 2 vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs.
• Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and submit as required.
• Maintain high standards of customer service at each delivery point.
• Comply with all UK driving laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
