Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for flexible treatment room sessions across primary care services in ERROL. This role is ideal for HCAs confident in performing routine clinical tasks within structured GP clinic environments, providing hands-on support to nursing and clinical teams.

You will assist with day-to-day treatment room duties, essential observations and routine procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow and consistent clinical support across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine clinical observations (BP, pulse, temperature).
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinic environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine clinical observations including BP, pulse and temperature.
• Support treatment room procedures such as wound care and dressings.
• Perform ECGs and basic health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy if trained.
• Update digital patient records in line with service protocols.
• Support clinicians with general duties where needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
