Job summary

Plowright Medical Centre in Swaffham, Norfolk, is recruiting a salaried GP for 4 sessions per week. The role covers all typical GP duties in primary care, with a focus on chronic disease management and preventive care within a friendly multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate).
• Be on the NHSE medical performers list.

Responsibilities

• Surgery and telephone consultations; home visits; repeat prescriptions.
• Make professional autonomous clinical decisions for patient problems.
• Assess healthcare needs of undiagnosed patients.
• Screen disease risk factors and early illness signs.
• Develop care plans with patients per protocols.
• Provide health education to patients.
• Record clear consultation notes to standards.
• Deliver enhanced services as required.
• Compile and issue acute and repeat prescriptions.
• Carry out general GP duties within primary care.
