Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum General Practitioners in Montgomery, Wales, offering flexible community-focused GP sessions and the ability to tailor your weekly schedule to your experience and preferred pace.

You will support autonomous GP clinics, manage urgent care demand, provide routine appointments and complete essential follow-up work across varied services in a well-structured clinical environment.

Qualifications

• GPs must be GMC registered and on NHS Performers List.
• Experience in primary care or community health is required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required to work in primary care environments.

Responsibilities

• Run independent GP clinics across community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, routine and complex presentations.
• Conduct telephone triage to support urgent access demand.
• Prescribe safely within clinical guidelines.
• Complete results, medication reviews and referral actions.
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with local clinical teams.
