Job summary

Marling School, part of Lift Schools, invites applications for a zero-hour Exam Invigilator role. You will support smooth exam operations under JCQ guidelines, working with the Exams Officer to help students feel prepared and secure during assessments.

No invigilation experience is required; strong literacy, calmness under pressure, and the ability to follow schedules and work with others are valued. Training is provided and safeguarding considerations are emphasised.

Qualifications

• No invigilation experience required.
• Must be able to follow JCQ guidelines and procedures.
• Strong literacy and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms according to seating plans and check student attendance.
• Give clear instructions to students about exam procedures and timings.
• Watch over exam rooms and ensure rules are followed.
• Collect exam papers and materials safely after each exam.
