Job summary

St John the Baptist School in Woking invites applications for Exam Invigilators to support our exams team. Roles are flexible, with sessions from 8:30am–3:30pm across December to July, and training provided to cover reader/scribe duties if needed.

Invigilators are paid per invigilation hour, with a typical schedule requiring availability for multiple sessions each week during exam periods. This is a casual contract with on-site duties at St John the Baptist School.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
• Good communicators, reliable, punctual and empathic towards students.
• Able to follow instructions and stand/walk for up to 3 hours during exams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during internal and external exams.
• Attend to exam procedures and ensure exam rules are followed.
• May act as reader and/or scribe for students; training provided.
