Bright Horizons Stourton Nursery seeks a flexible Bank Nursery Practitioner to support EYFS delivery, engage children with fun and educational activities, and assist with day‑to‑day nursery duties within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in activities
• Work with a larger team to complete day‑to‑day tasks such as room tidying and preparation

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you’ll blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds! Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day‑to‑day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
