Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) is seeking a Domestic Cleaning Assistant to join our domestic team at Thomas Fields Community Care Centre. You will provide a high-quality cleaning service, maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors, with training provided where needed.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds; experience is helpful but not essential. You will be part of a supportive team, with flexible working and opportunities to develop.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills or willing to work towards.
• Desirable: Basic Health & Safety Certificate; Health and Safety Certificate; NVQ in Cleaning.
• Experience: ability to prioritise and organise workload; complete on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality domestic service to support patient care.
• Follow agreed work schedules and procedures to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Be flexible and prepared to work at other sites as service demands dictate.
