Job summary

Angard Recruitment is partnering with Royal Mail to recruit flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the United Kingdom. You’ll deliver letters and parcels across your route, combining driving with on-foot delivery, and be the face of Royal Mail in your community.

Responsibilities include completing parts of your route on foot, handling items including election materials, and ensuring items reach their destinations safely.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Complete parts of your route on foot and provide exceptional service to the community.
• Securely deliver all items, including election materials and items like food or alcohol, per Royal Mail standards.
