Qualifications

• Two employment references, one from a care home
• In-date mandatory training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control)
• Enhanced DBS certificate dated within past 12 months or on update service
• Experience with hoists, slings and rotundas
• Minimum 6 months paid UK work experience in a residential care home

Responsibilities

• Personal care (inc. strip washes, toileting)
• Following personal care plans
• Record keeping (fluid intake / condition updates)
• Assisting with resident mobility
• Taking part in daily activities
• Completing domestic duties as required
• Being a friendly and supportive influence
