Job summary

Aspire People seeks experienced Primary Teachers to support schools across Manchester with daily supply and short-term teaching cover. This role offers flexibility to control your availability and work in varied school environments.

Deliver lessons, follow plans, manage behaviour, support pupils with different abilities, and communicate with staff while upholding safeguarding standards throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS.
• Has previous primary classroom teaching experience.
• Is confident managing a class and adapting to different school environments.
• Can establish positive relationships with pupils quickly.
• Is reliable, flexible and professional.
• Has a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivering lessons and maintaining continuity of learning.
• Covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, depending on experience.
• Following existing lesson plans and school guidance where provided.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with different abilities and additional needs.
• Communicating effectively with school staff.
• Ensuring pupils remain safe, engaged and supported throughout the school day.
