Job summary

Driver Hire Warrington & St Helens is seeking Class 2 HGV drivers for immediate vacancies with a range of builders merchants and hauliers; you can choose which days to work on a week-by-week basis, giving flexibility for other commitments.

Duties typically start around 07:00, include daily vehicle checks, securing loads, delivering to sites, completing paperwork, and delivering friendly service to customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with category C entitlement or above.
• Valid CPC & digi-tacho cards.
• No DR, IN or TT related conviction codes on your licence.
• The ability to work independently in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Commence work at around 07:00 each morning.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, before & after each shift.
• Ensure every delivery load is strapped securely.
• Distribute goods to businesses & construction sites.
• Complete roughly 4-6 deliveries per day.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
• Interact with customers in a friendly & respectful manner.
