Job summary

VTA Recruitment is seeking reliable Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ad hoc work across Manchester. The role focuses on driving, with no heavy lifting and no handballing, offering flexible shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include safe operation of Class 1 vehicles, completing paperwork, and adhering to tachograph rules and transport legislation. CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required, with up to 9 points on licence.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 9 penalty points on your licence.
• Flexible to work days, afternoons and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for deliveries and collections.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Follow all UK road transport legislation, tachograph rules and company procedures.
• Communicate professionally with transport teams and customers.
