Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our bank team in a role focused on supporting residents with warmth and a high level of care. You will help with kitchen duties, meal preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards across the kitchen and related areas.

We provide excellent training and development opportunities through our Catering Academy, with a focus on progression and skill-building while contributing to residents' daily wellbeing and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and related areas.
• Preparation of produce for mealtime, for example vegetable preparation and making of sandwiches
• Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable produce.
• Safely storing cleaning materials
• Ensure all cooking utensils and pots are cleaned to the required standards
• Carry out any tasks assigned by the Head / Second Chef or Home Manager
