Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking enthusiastic Casual Swimming Instructors to join our leisure centres across Stoke-on-Trent. You will deliver engaging and safe swimming lessons, supporting learners of all ages and abilities to build confidence in the water.

The role is casual, with hours offered as needed across Fenton Manor, Dimensions and New Horizons venues, and requires current RLSS lifeguarding and teaching certifications. Join a welcoming team focused on community health and activity.

Qualifications

• Qualified with relevant lifeguarding and swimming instructor certifications, including maintaining current RLSS qualifications and completing the annual departmental water test

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and safe swimming lessons to a wide range of participants across leisure centres
• Support swimmers of all ages and abilities to develop skills and confidence in the water
• Work across Fenton Manor, Dimensions and New Horizons leisure facilities with the swim teaching team
