Job summary

OnFife is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant for Rothes Halls, Glenrothes. You will join the onsite catering team, primarily handling bar duties and supporting the busy café area, including serving food and beverages, recording payments, restocking and maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards for staff and visitors.

The role includes evenings and weekends to cover shows, requiring a positive, flexible attitude and good numeracy.

Qualifications

• You’ll have previous experience in a similar bar and hospitality role with a knowledge of health and safety requirements, understanding the workings of a catering environment is desirable.
• You will be a team player who will be energetic, with good literacy and numeracy skills and have a positive and flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
• You’ll take pride in your working environment and provide a professional and courteous service to visitors.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages, recording payments, restocking, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards and wider team support.
• Role will involve working on a casual basis including evenings and weekends for covering our Shows.
