Job summary

Aster Group in London is recruiting a Casual Care Assistant to join Compton Lodge Care Home. You will support residents with personal care and daily activities, helping them stay engaged and comfortable in a warm, community-focused environment.

The role offers flexible casual hours with standard shifts around 12 hours 20 minutes, days and nights, and DBS checks are part of the recruitment process. Prior care experience is welcomed, and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Basic literacy and numerac y skills.
• To be compassionate and patient.
• Ideally some experience in a caring industry, for example hospitality or schools.
• To pass our DBS check or be on the DBS update service.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Help maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Work with an amazing team to keep residents engaged, active and enjoying life.
