Job summary

Bennetts Car Parts is seeking a Casual Delivery Driver to provide flexible cover for staff absences, delivering car parts and accessories to garages and retail customers in a safe, timely and professional manner. You will also perform basic warehouse duties when not on delivery runs, with responsibilities including loading and unloading, checking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records.

A full UK driving licence and good local knowledge are essential, as are reliability and good customer

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry parts.
• Punctual and reliable, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver car parts and accessories to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Load and unload parts, ensuring they are handled carefully and delivered without damage.
• Check deliveries against orders and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Bennetts Car Parts professionally.
• Assist in the warehouse when not driving (picking, packing, stock checks).
• Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays as needed.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance issues.
