Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Hexham is seeking a Bank Support Worker to deliver high-quality care across our 27-bed women’s mental health facility. You will join a dedicated team, supporting service users with compassionate, flexible care in a therapeutic environment.

This bank role offers flexible shifts, training, and ongoing supervision. An enhanced DBS check is required, and you will help maintain a safe, respectful environment while responding to medical and welfare needs.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.

• Ability to provide physical & emotional support to service users.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs.
• Report on medical & welfare needs as required.
