Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking a Bank Pharmacy Technician to join our Ilford hospital team. This 0-hour, bank contract offers flexible shifts and the chance to support medicines management, dispensing, and patient care in a hospital setting.

You will work with the Site Lead Pharmacist and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely access to medicines while upholding high standards of pharmaceutical care and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
• Good IT skills and computer literacy.
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Post-qualification experience in a pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a safe, high-quality pharmacy service.
• Dispense medicines accurately and in accordance with procedures.
• Provide medicines management support to inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Counsel patients on medications and provide information.
• Maintain controlled drug records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage stock levels and support stock audits.
• Support governance, quality improvement and regulatory activities.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses and wider healthcare teams.
