Zusammenfassung

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care is recruiting Bank Healthcare Assistants to provide end-of-life care to patients in their own homes across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. You will support with washing, dressing, nutrition and comfort, visiting mainly in pairs but sometimes alone, with access to your own car.

Experience is not essential as training is provided; benefits include flexible shifts across a 7-day week and a competitive hourly rate of £13.21.

Qualifikationen

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• We do not sponsor for this role.
• Manual handling and/or heavy lifting.
• Full, current valid UK driving licence.
• Access to a vehicle which can be used for work purposes.
• Car insurance, including business cover
• Disclosure and Barring Services Check: Enhanced – child and adult
• A good level of IT literacy is required, including confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, email, and other digital systems relevant to the role

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate and maintain consistently high standards of individualised personal care and support under guidance of Management.
• Work alongside the patient’s families and/or health care professionals, maintaining an approach that incorporates physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of care in accordance with the Rennie Grove Peace philosophy.
• Observe and report changes in the patient’s symptoms, conditions and circumstances to the management and notify other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Work in accordance with the patient’s agreed care plan.
• Responsible for identifying and acting on any risk of safeguarding to patients and their families in accordance with the Rennie Grove Peace policies.
