Nellsar is hiring a Bank Kitchen Assistant for Hengist Field Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent. You will contribute to the daily kitchen operation, preparing meals, assisting with serving, and ensuring a nutritious, balanced menu for residents, while working with a caring, supportive team.

This 0-hour contract offers flexible hours, competitive pay (£13 per hour), and comprehensive induction with ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Preparing all foodstuff, as directed by the Head Chef.
• Assisting and executing various kitchen duties such as ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to.
• Assisting in preparation and serving of all meals, in a timely manner.
• Liaising with care staff and residents in a polite and person-centred way.
• Being responsible for understanding health and safety requirements.
