Job summary

Shaw healthcare is seeking a Bank Domestic Assistant to join Ledbury Nursing in Ledbury. The role offers a flexible bank contract (as/when required) with a wage of £13.61 per hour, aimed at keeping care staff valued and supported.

The position involves joining a team dedicated to delivering high standards of care in a welcoming home environment. You will work within a nursing, dementia and residential setting, assisting with daily cleaning tasks and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize rooms including furnishings in assigned work areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry with minimal disruption to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families and colleagues; build good interpersonal relationships.
• Demonstrate ability to work without direct supervision.
• Use a variety of cleaning products with attention to COSHH regulations.
• Work on your own initiative and maintain high hygiene levels within the home.
