Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6) for its Flexi-Bank in Epsom. The role offers a 3-month contract with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Attractive hourly rate of £25.83 and access to NHS support services. The post involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care within the community, mentoring staff, leading care for a defined service user group and coordinating MDT activity.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC registration and current practice status.
• Mentorship training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in community or mental health care environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical management for a defined group of service users.
• Coordinate delivery of person-centred healthcare with MDT input.
• Deliver cognitive behavioural therapy when indicated and monitor outcomes.
• Participate in recruitment, deployment and staff management within the team.
