Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate training in Learning Disabilities, mental health/challenging behaviour and physical/sensory disabilities.
• Training or knowledge of dysphagia and how to support people with swallowing needs.
• Evidence of continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support Adults with Learning Disabilities who have communication differences through individualized assessment and intervention plans.
• Assist service users with complex needs within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in continuing professional development and contribute to service development.
