Job summary

Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd is seeking fluent Arabic interpreters to join a growing UK network. Based in Blyth or nearby, you will handle freelance assignments across NHS trusts, local authorities, and private clients, with options for remote or in-person work.

We welcome applicants with community interpreting qualifications or NRPSI/DPSI registration. DBS checks (or willingness to apply) and eligibility to work in the UK are required to join our professional team.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and at least one other language required.
• Experience or qualification in community interpreting preferred.
• NRPSI/DPSI or equivalent registration encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide Arabic interpreting for NHS hospitals, GP practices, and social services.
• Interpret for schools, solicitors, and housing/council settings as needed.
• Work across face-to-face, telephone, and video remote interpreting channels.
