Job summary

Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is seeking a tester to deliver effective testing across DVSA digital services within a delivery-focused Agile environment. The role centers on test design, execution and quality assurance to ensure services meet user and business requirements and provide confidence in delivery decisions.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, design test plans, execute tests, and share knowledge to support continuous improvement of testing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience applying testing methodologies to digital services (functional, integration and system testing).
• Strong ability to design and execute test plans and report outcomes clearly.
• Experience working in Agile digital delivery environments with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, integration, system and revalidation testing activities, ensuring testing remains relevant to business needs and product risk.
• Work effectively within fast-paced digital delivery environments, maintaining focus on quality, risk and user outcomes.
• Support testing by leveraging testing tools to execute test scenarios, review results, and gain insights, collaborating with colleagues responsible for building the frameworks
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within team-level testing practices and contribute to corporate testing standards and best practice guidance.
• Review test results and adapt testing activities where necessary to maintain quality and coverage.
