Job summary

Connect Appointments is seeking a Production Operative in Scotland (Broxburn) for ad-hoc temporary work with a drinks bottling business. You will feed bottles on a busy production line, apply corks and capsules by hand, pack bottles into cartons, tubes and gift boxes using packing guides, and seal cases for dispatch.

Shift patterns run Monday to Friday with early or back shifts. A background in production/manufacturing is preferred; you should be a reliable, positive team player eager to learn

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong teamworking skills and a willingness to learn.
• A reliable, positive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Bottle and case feeding on a busy production line.
• Applying corks and capsules by hand.
• Packing bottles into cartons, tubes and gift boxes using packing guides.
• Taping and sealing cases ready for dispatch.
• Disgorging and emptying bottles as required.
