Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking tutors for 1:1 tuition across Oldham, starting after the October half term. Sessions run 9am–4pm with flexible hours from one to thirty, aimed at pupils from EYFS to 16+.

Roles include GCSE Tutor, Mentor, ESOL/EAL Tutor, Primary/EYFS Tutor, Intervention Tutor, SEN Tutor, and Play Therapist. Requirements include right to work in the UK, Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, Overseas Police Check if applicable, two professional references, at least two years'

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
• Two professional references.
• Two years' experience as a teacher or tutor.
• Experience working with or teaching children with SEN.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver learning plans on a 1:1 basis.
• Monitor each student's progression by submitting weekly reports.
• Provide structure and educational development to help students return to mainstream education.
