Job summary

Solo Support Services Ltd is seeking compassionate Personal Assistants to support a young girl with learning disabilities and a brain injury. The role involves 1:1 care, personal care, meal assistance, and night routines, with some 2:1 shifts and complex care needs supported by training.

You will join a team that emphasises safety, safeguarding, and positive behaviour support, with full training provided and DBS checks completed as part of Safer Recruitment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable and patient.
• Ability to provide personal care and mobility support.
• Experience or training in behaviours of distress or complex care needs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 (and occasionally 2:1) support to the client.
• Assist with personal care, feeding and bedtime routines.
• Administer medication as required and monitor wellbeing.
• Support with evening and school holiday routines.
• Engage in activities and enable outings while ensuring safety.
